Das „unleserliche” Kniearthrogramm

Zusammenfassung

Es wird über Ergebnisse der Luftarthrographie des Kniegelenks mit direkter radiologischer Vergrößerungstechnik bei 100 Patienten mit Meniskussymptomatik berichtet. Die operative Kontrolle zeigte eine Trefferquote der Luftarthrographie von 91 %. Die Vorteile der Luftarthrographie gegenüber der Doppelkontrastmethode - Luft und positives Kontrastmittel - sind die bessere Lesbarkeit der Arthrogramme durch den Operateur und die Möglichkeit der Videodokumentation, die bisher wegen der ungenügenden Bildqualität nicht genutzt werden konnte.

Summary

The problem of the difficulty experienced by non-radiologists in reading a convention knee arthrogram is discussed. A new method is proposed, consisting of air as contrast medium in combination with direct radiological magnification. Operative control of the first 100 patients showed correct arthrographic diagnosis in 91 %. The advantage of the new method is a better presentation of meniscus pathology to the operating surgeon and the possibility of video documentation.
